Shea & Todd

We met Shea & Todd a few years ago before they were engaged. So, the whole process of getting to be a part of their wedding was so fun for us. They are a fun couple when they are together and they have friends that love to laugh and have a good time too. We got to play with them all around Seven Oaks. Even with a bit of a sprinkler surprise, we still managed to have a great day that lasted well into the night.

Chelsea & John Wedding

I first heard about Chelsea & John at another wedding. Even before I met them, I knew that I was going to love them. Of course, I did. They are so cute together. I loved how John could just pick Chelsea up at a moments notice. John even dipped Chelsea right after the ceremony & I am pretty sure he did it just for me. They also had such a hilarious bridal party. Ryan even called me before I met the groomsmen to tell me how funny they were. And, let me tell you, they did not disappoint. Those guys had me laughing the entire day.

One of my unexpected favorite things of the day were Chelsea’s most adorable shoes. They looked so cute with her bright colored flowers. I couldn’t stop shooting them. So fun!! The other treat of the day was that the girls got ready at The Little White Dress Shop. It is so fun in there & Jenny was absolutely fantastic to work with. All in all, it was a fantastic day.

Heather & Chris

Heather  & Chris are just super cute. We had so much fun with them on their wedding day. They wanted to have their first meeting on their wedding day at the place that they met for the first time. I loved that. It was so special to watch them share in their moment in this place. I will never eat at Sequoia without thinking of the two of them. They have the most fun personalities and had a great group of friends. They danced and played all night long. Here are a few shots from their wedding. Lesley & Lucas

 

Lesley and Lucas got married on what might have been the hottest day of the year, so far. But they didn’t complain one bit. We were all a bit toasty and yet we managed to laugh and joke the whole day. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting them and their families. They both came from these large families, which always makes for such fun on the wedding day. There was so much love surrounding all of them. We were so fortunate to be a part of it all.

 

 

 

Meghan and Kyle Engagement

So, you all know I am not very faithful about posting images from portrait and engagement sessions. I try, but I am always behind. I just felt like I had to post some images from this engagement session that we just did with Meghan and Kyle. 

First, let me tell you about Meghan & Kyle. I heart them.

I have known Meghan for years and we were both bridesmaids in my sister’s wedding. Well really she was still a maid, I was already a matron, but who keeps track of that stuff anyway. We had so much fun together, laughing & giggling. We both have this crazy curly hair that not very many people in the world really understand. I also really love Meghan’s mom, Carolyn. I have heard about Kyle since they were dating. Back when we would call him, :Kyyylleeee”. She was smitten. And why not, Kyle is just the most adorable thing since, well okay, my husband. But he is way up there in terms of the great guys of the world list.

So, now here we are. They are engaged and just completely sweet. I have been so excited about them getting married since the day he proposed on the side of the road. Okay, not really he proposed at a Dodger game, but I still have to tease her about a silly picture they took. So, our engagement session was a bit abnormal. We went all over the place and ran into lots of celebrities. We would shoot, then snack, then drive, then shoot, and on and on. 

Of course, Kyle wanted to have his pictures taken in the busiest areas of town so that everyone could see him, but Meghan was really reserved. Oh wait, that is totally wrong. Then we got yelled at and then some by our now friend, Jimiray V.T. But the good news is, that if their wedding venue falls through, she offered to let them get married on her front porch. The downfall is that no one would be able to park on the property without a good old-fashioned cussing!

Thanks for all of the fun! We had so much fun and can hardly wait until your wedding day. I wonder who will yell at us then? I am excited to find out.

Breanna and Bobby

I have had so much fun with these two since I met them. They both drive red cars, so automatically you know I would love them. They are both so cute and love to laugh. Even though we were rushing to get all of the pictures done so that everyone could eat, we were having a blast while we were shooting like crazy. Of course, their friends were fun too. We even had friends at this wedding too. What a fun treat!

Wendy and Andrew

I only met Wendy and Andrew a couple of weeks before their wedding, but on their wedding day, I felt like I had known them forever. We just clicked with them. And who wouldn’t? They were perfectly sweet and completely adorable. Wendy couldn’t get within 2 feet of Andrew without reaching out to touch him, usually on his face. Both of their families were a complete pleasure to be around & were such an amazing example of godly marriages & families.  Wendy’s dad, Dave Champness, performed the ceremony and definitely had me tearing up and laughing, sometimes at the same time. Thank goodness there was laughter, otherwise I would have really looked like a mess.

The reception was at her grandma’s house & was just perfect. Twinkle lights and happy faces, everywhere you looked, sounds like a great way to start their marriage off.

Suzanne and Greg

Wow! I am really behind on this one. Suzanne & Greg got married at the Meridian Winery in Paso Robles. I have to admit that I was completely amazed at how perfectly the weather timed itself on their big day. When we left town, it was pouring rain. By the time we got to Paso, the skies were cloudy, but somehow the clouds lifted and the sun came out while we were doing all of their portraits. In the middle of the ceremony, those clouds came back and the wind kcicked up, but the rain held. About 5 minutes after the ceremony ended, it started raining! Just enough time for everyone to take cover under the patio & enjoy some wine. No less than perfection!!

This couple was a blast & would do anything that we asked, with a smile. We played with them all over those vineyards & winery. They were so sweet and kind. We really enjoyed our time with them and their family and were thrilled to get to share their day with them.

Tiffany and Matt

Well, I have been quite behind on my life and posting wedding images on the blog. So, now I am catching up! Tiffany & Matt got married at The Petroleum Club in a very sweet ceremony. Tiffany’s brother officiated the ceremony, which was very touching. It is always fun to get to do a wedding where I know the wedding party & this was one of those weddings. With the exception of the bride’s little sister, I have known all of the flowergirls and the ring bearer since the day they were born. It was such a treat to be able to play with them.

The most unique thing was the favor for the guests- a bottle of hand sanitizer. So perfectly them & so adorable. Thanks again for letting me be a part of your special day.

Recent Weddings

Hi- We have had a couple of recent weddings & I just wanted to update everyone as to when to expect to see them on the website. Matt & Tiffany’s wedding should be up on the website by March 6th. Andrew & Wendy’s wedding should be up on the website by March 23.

Hopefully I can get some images up on the blog from both weddings by next week.  Just wanted to give everyone an update as I know you are all excited! Check back soon!
